land rover putting a PHEV engine in the Evoque and Discovery Sport

  after Land Rover put the hybrid technology in the Range Rover as their first plug-in hybrid car her sisters followed her after that and we saw the Range Rover Sport and we saw after then the new Land Rover Defender with a mild-hybrid engine the turn now has come on the new Evoque and the new Discovery Sport and Land rover has made the perfect formula cause the clients of this type of cars are actually a big engines haters and when Land Rover offered PHEV engine in these cars so that a perfect deal for this clients.

 the cars have the same engine but with a 10 horsepower difference for the Evoque, the core of the cars is a 1.5L 3-Cylinder petrol engine with an 80 kW electric motor the total system power is 305 horsepower and 295 Lb-ft of torque the car goes from 0-100 in 6.1 seconds the car had three power delivering modes the gas-only and the gas and the electric motor and the EV which is the electric motor only. the car can charge 80% of the battery in 30 minutes with a supercharger
